Research of the descendants of Johnson Monroe and Amelia Hooper who married in 1781 in Lunenburg Co., Virginia. Johnson and Amelia are found in the 1790 South Carolina census. They relocate to Barren Co., KY about 1799. Some descendants remained in the Barren Co. area but before 1850 several had moved to Illinois. Primarily Wayne and Cass Counties. Research of related families is included.

I don't know but suspect in Logan Co., KY as they lived their entire married life there and Francis Marion continued to live in Logan Co. with his 2nd wife Almarinda Cisney after Polly died.
